Qualifications
Our therapists are both registered with the Health Professions Council (HPC) and are members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists (CSP) as well as being category A members of ACPAT.
They have both completed extensive post graduate training related to the equine, canine and feline field of physiotherapy and frequently attend national conferences and participate in regular continuing professional development to ensure regular updates on their knowledge and skills.
A summary of both our therapists' qualifications and professional memberships:
- BSc(Hons) Physiotherapy - three year degree course (giving a Chartered Physiotherapy qualification) 2004.
- Cat A ACPAT- two year core knowledge and skills course organised by the governing body of animal physiotherapy ACPAT (Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Animal Therapy).
- Post Graduate Diploma in Veterinary Physiotherapy - Hartpury College, Bristol UWE.
- MCSP - Member of Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and therefore bound by a code of professional conduct.
- HPC - member of Health Professions Council and registered to treat humans.
